Today was one of the best days of my life!

It was 50cm snow in the slopes and almost 1meter of snow offpist. So that was pretty crazy!
Did some sick slams and some really good runs!

If the weather conditions are better tomorrow they are going to run the finals. But right now it’s snowing and today it has been quite foggy so the sight hasn’t been so good. So I really hope that the weather will be better for tomorrow or else they are going to have the qualification results as the final results.

No final tomorrow = powder all day with my friends, so I’m happy anyway!

Yes, today it was the qualification for all the riders. I qualified 6th place so I’m stoked about that!
4 other Swedish guys went through to the finals in the rookie class. Zebbe, Kevin, Niklas and Tor!
Also 2 Sweds in the grom class! Benji and Tobias.

Right now it’s snowing so much so I don’t think they will have the finals tomorrow. But wednesday is a reserve day so probably thats the day they are going to run the finals.

But I’m so stoked right now becuase it’s snowing heavily. It’s going to be a lot of powder for tomorrow! So were thinking to build a small powder kicker somewhere and try some new tricks!

Today we had practice on the slopestyle course. This year the jumps are a bit bigger than last year and the setup seems to be much funnier! First there is a staircase with 25 steps. It has a down rail and a down-flat-down that you can choose between. The course has 3 jumps. First jump is a 20m step down, second jump a 15m step up and the third is 23m long. The last obstacle is a up box.

It was quite windy today and some people slammed really hard becuase of the wind. After 1.5 hours practice it becamed flat light so you couldn’t see anything, not even the kickers. That was pretty scary so i didn’t practice anymore.

So tomorrow it’s time for qualification and maybe the result of the qualifitactions can be the total results of the hole competition becuase the weather on tuesday might be so bad that you can’t ride. So i think it’s all in tomorrow ! Wish me and all the other Swedish guys good luck.

Now I’m here in Livigno! Got a ride with the Protest team from Laax to here so thank you guys for that!
I have just waxed my board and all that so right now I’m just chilling, going to sleep soon!

Tomorrow I got training and I heard that the jumps are bigger than last year so i’m really excited to see how they look. I will take some photos on the course and upload tomorrow so you can see how it looks.

Now I´m just chilling here in Laax at the apartment. Burton European Open is now over and I had a really good time here for sure! You can see the finals at go211 and you will find the results on BEO.

Tomorrow I´m going to leave this place and go to Livigno in Italy for the World Rookie Fest.
I hope that I will have Internet at my hotel so i can keep you guys updated about the contest and all that.

After Livigno I´ll go back to Sweden to see my girlfriend that I miss so much and after that I will go home to Lima and ride some snowboard in Swedens best snowpark Kläppen.

The apartment in Laax

Hi all!

Yesterday it was the qualification for the slopestyle and it was only one swedish guy who made it to the qual.
Big ups to Kevin Bäckström that made it. 2 days ago he came 3rd on the 6star TTR event O’Neill Evolution. I’m pretty stoked on my run even if I didn’t make it! I had a lot of fun with my friends.

Sven Thorgren also from Sweden made a good result in the juniors class, 6th in the slopestyles and 13th place in the halfpipe! Supergood riding, he’s only 14 years old

And for all the people who didnt’t know, it’s my birthday today so I will start the day in the slopes with my friends. I’m going to be here in Laax untill the 17th and then I’m heading to Livigno in Italy for the World Rookie Fest.

Sorry, I’ve been pretty lazy about posting. Today I´m off to Laax and Burton European Open.
